From the recording Purple Pill

This song was inspired by the temporary file name I used for the project: "Temp1", lol. The title sparked a thought process, that we are indeed, Temp1's ourselves, there will always be another born to replace the one that died. We live and die on the hamster wheel.

It is an expression of the routine, ritualised and oft-robotic behaviour of the human race today and how we continue in our endless procession of birth and death throughout time of serving our 'purpose' to those Unseen who direct and mold our existence. We are oblivious to this; we are born, we obey and conform, we consume and we die. We live in an illusion of freedom and choice, which is in fact very limited. We give our money, our sovereignty and our short amount of lifetime away to Others largely in the pursuit of things that do not matter. Time for change.

At the time I was reading David Icke's book 'Everything You Need to Know But Will Never Be Told'. It will make more sense to anyone who knows his work ;)

LYRICS
Take another number, get into your place
Wait until you're called up, regulate your pace
Buy another trinket, put it in its place
Borrow from your brother, buy another face
Colour in by number, listen to your mother
Every day decided by the forces of another
Buy another trinket, put it in its place
Borrow from your brother, buy another case

Dum diddy dum dum, getting nothing done
You earn all the money, we have all the fun
Temp 1, temp 1, temp1-temp1

Dum diddy dum dum got no time to pause
We take all the money, you become the cause
Temp 1, temp1…

Nothing you have done can't be replaced
I will not remember
What has been erased
If I tell the truth, will I die?
Can’t handle honesty, so I hide

Dum diddy dum dum getting nothing done
You earn all the money we have all the fun
Temp 1, temp 1-temp 1

Dum diddy dum dum, we just wanna party
You do all the bleeding, we take all the money glory
Temp 1, temp 1

Find another car, and
Rebel against your father
Take it and trash it, get a secondary lover
Buy another trinket, put it in its place
Borrow from your sister, try another face

Colour in by number, listen to your mother
Every day decided by the choices of another
Buy another trinket, put it in its place
Buy another trinket, buy another trinket

Mirror mirror on the wall
Am I even here at all?

Did I ask, the right question?
Tip my head, in your direction
Assume the right stance
Succumb to your persuasion
Will you lay me down, and turn me off?
Will it hurt? Will I need stupefication?
Can I survive for 7 years without my head?
Can you survive without the fear that you have bred?

Colour in by number, keep us in our slumber
Sell me to your sister, give me to your brother
Build another Temple, put it in its place
Make another gender, kill another race

Feed us the perception, prison to us all
We don't wanna feel it, numb til we fall
Buy another trinket, we just wanna party
We don't want the freedom, we just want the money

Buy another trinket, Buy another trinket,
Buy another trinket, put it on the wall
Temp1-temp1
