This song was born of the Pandemic era, and was a catharsis for myself and R.E.D following the trauma of the societal shift that occurred at that time. I used audio from video that I took at the Wellington Parliament protest, at the start, the middle and the final showdown with protesters and police. R.E.D's words epitomise the hearts of the protesters and why we stood against the ridiculousness. I still get emotional listening to it today.
